In the north
This was supposed to be a stylish house in the north of Europe, inspired by the colours of the cities in Belgium and the Netherlands. Authentic materials and handicrafts used in interior design for centuries were the key to success. Solid wood joinery, finished with traditional techniques, brush-painted furniture, doors, wall panels, cornices and pedestals were all specially designed for this project. Belgian Bluestone flooring, heavy Italian velour curtains, fireplace made by an English stone workshop, chandeliers and lampshades – all the classic musts have been carefully integrated into this place.
